working groups

The Forum had established the following seven working groups to examine particular areas of Human Rights.  Each working group had a convenor and equal civic and political representation.

1. Children and young people

2. Women

3. Criminal justice and victims

4. Economic and social rights, including relevant equality issues

5. Culture and identity and language

6. Civil and political rights, including relevant equality issues

7. Preamble, Enforcement and implementation

The documents below were produced to provide a guide for rights which should be mainstreamed across all working groups and to clearly identify the areas of overlap between each group.  A further blueprint document for each working group is also available and can be accessed from their webpages listed above.  A recommended reading list and annotations relevant to all working groups can also be accessed below.
